About Me

Hello, my name is Anita and I have various kinds of work experience with children and otherwise. I am working as a freelancer which leaves me free during evenings, weekends, and even some weekdays for childcare for those busy parents who work extra hours or need to get some social time in! I am caring, empathetic, fun, friendly, and love looking after kids after growing up in a big family myself. I also have experience looking after a child with autism from my little brother.

My Experience

I have supervised up to four children at a time caring for their safety, nutrition, activities and sleeping for a maximum of six hours, but can happily babysit for longer than that. The ages of children I have babysat range between three months old and fifteen years old, both male and female. I have also au paired an 8 year old boy in London for three months over summer and supervised him doing his homework, cooked his meals, took him to school, karate club, and swimming lessons. Growing up, I had four younger siblings so have spent a lot of time entertaining and taking care of them which gave me good experience with children.

My Qualifications

Joint degree in English literature and Film Studies at Aberdeen University.
Masters in Creative Writing.
