I have a son of my own although he is older now. Before having my own child, I worked for many families in Sussex and as a carer for children and young people with autism and varying special needs. I have lots of experience in helping to run a household /mothers help.
I provide childcare / babysitting support, overnight childcare, school wrap around (this can be before and after school), ad hoc or regular hours when needed. I have experience with sleep and feeding routines and can support weaning and potty training.
I live in a beautiful part of Sussex and enjoy the outdoors. I have a car and a full driving license.
Cleaning is charged at £15p/h.

- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
Overnight fees from £90 depending on hours needed.

We were so very pleased to find Katie and highly recommend her for childcare.
She feels like a very safe, experienced, skilled and caring pair of hands to look after our children. Katie is really gifted at what she does. She very quickly and intuitively got a sense of both our children's individual characters and connected and engaged with them and their needs. She instantly made us all feel at ease with her warmth and friendliness. We felt very confident leaving our children in her care.

Katie is brilliant, we have had Katie with us since September and she made us feel so at ease from the moment we meet. My little boy absolutely loves spending time with Katie. Loads of knowledge about places to go and whats on.

Katie takes care of our two children, aged 7 and 10, during weekends when we're away for work, and they absolutely adore her. Their genuine sadness when she leaves and their excitement when they know she's coming back because we're working again speaks volumes about her excellence. To be fair that alone is all the evidence I need that she's the right Nanny for them.
Katie is not only reliable, punctual, and professional, but she exudes fantastic positive energy. She effortlessly takes the children out to the park, for walks, and on day trips, demonstrating super independence in planning activities while ensuring they attend their clubs and other scheduled events.
I appreciate her enthusiasm for involving them in baking and cooking meals, and it's a delight to return home after a long day to find the house tidy, a delicious Oreo cake awaiting, and the kids washed, in their pyjamas, eagerly awaiting family time before bed.
Katie excels at nurturing my children's diverse interests, engaging in art and painting with my daughter, and discussing karate and sports with my son. She invests genuine effort into making them feel valued and cared for. I'm grateful to have found Katie and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a nanny.
