About Me
My name is Lucie Marwood and I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since January 2013. My latest Ofsted inspection gave me a GOOD outcome. I have lived in Bovey Tracey since 2021 and was previously in Chudleigh, with my husband Chris and our daughters.
As a childminder I have close links with other local childminders and I attend toddler groups and singing groups run locally, giving the children in my care the chance to socialise with their peers and develop friendships. I offer a home from home setting in which the children can feel valued and secure allowing them to develop and thrive. We regularly have trips to local parks and places of interest and visit the Zoo, Canonteign Falls and Teignmouth Beach and others. On rainy days we do craft activities and baking at home or visit other Childminders and play-centres. I cover all areas of the Early Years curriculum with the children through play and activities designed for the children to have fun first and learn as they do!
My Experience
I gained my Working with Children & Young People level 2 & 3 qualifications in 2012 and 2013 whilst volunteering with a local Childminder to gain experience in childcare.
I have looked after children aged from 7 months to 11 years.
I have current qualifications in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Level 3, Understanding Autism Level 2 and regularly attend Childmider development meetings and other relevant courses run by the local authority to keep up to date with current legislation.
I have my own car with a Full clean driving license and relevant business use insurance.

My Availability
I work Monday - Thursday and my current hours are from 8am - 5pm to suit the families I work with at present but these hours can be negotiated if necessary. Please contact me for availability through Devon family directory.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I am registered as a Funded Chilminder and can therefore offer the 30 hours free childcare
