About Me
Hi my name is Lisa and I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I am 46 years old with two daughters, Alex aged 25 (who is also my assistant) and Niamh aged 10 years, and a cat Popcorn.
I provide healthy home cooked food and a safe and relaxing home from home experience for your children. Lots of arts and crafts and activities to keep children entertained and focused on learning through play.
We attend playgroups, forestry school, singing classes and soft play each morning of the week.
My training includes -

Paediatric First Aid to Ofsted standard
Food Hygeine and Safe Handling
Managing Behaviour Diploma
I have a secure back garden for the children to play in and lots of outdoor places to attend including - parks, wacky warehouse, library, playgroup, local pets corner with lambs, chickens and rabbits
The safety and wellbeing of the children in my care is of the highest importance to me and I hope to set your mind at ease that your children are well looked after in my care.
I am open Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for 9 years and is literally the best job in the world! I get to see how your little ones develop into proper little charismatic people and share the excitement of all their achievements and goals. I continually work to better myself and do additional training wherever possible, and keep updated with any new legislation's from Ofsted.

My Availability
I work Monday to Friday between 7.30 am and 5.30 pm.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
My fees are £50.00 for full days.
£6.50 per hour for half days weekdays (minimum 5 hours)
Fees are inclusive of nappies, wipes, food and snacks and covers the cost of all trips out.

I think a review on here is WELL overdue.
Our children have gone to Lisa and Alex for nearly 5 years now. I wouldn’t trust them with anyone else. We love the one to one setting and how much love and care they get. Our children mix with children of pre and school age. They’re caring and compassionate and have both come on leaps and bounds in her setting and have made some lovely friends over the years.
My youngest enjoys days to playgroup, the singing lady and forrest school. Lisa’s back garden is absolutely great for play and they love her food.
Lisa is incredibly friendly, flexible and approachable, Alex too, the babies absolutely love her cuddles. My children love her family, my eldest goes to school with her daughter.
I can honestly say hand on heart, we’ve never had any issues in the years they’ve been there and we’re incredibly lucky to have found her and they have now become great friends.

Lisa and Alex are fantastic! My daughter has been at Lisa’s for around two years, and I didn’t hesitate to enrol my son for later this year. Bea loves going and that is because there is a safe, loving and supportive environment that Lisa and Alex provide. They get out to the local parks and playgroups and explore the local surroundings which builds my daughters confidence and gives her lots of new experiences. My daughters speech and behaviour is great and a large part of that is down to Lisa and Alex. The mix of all different ages means that children learn from the older kids and in my opinion develop quicker than they would in a nursery with children all the same age.
If I have ever had a minor concern (which is very rare) Lisa has always taken it very seriously, and is easy to talk things through with. She always follows up with a great action plan and I know I could talk to her about anything.

My husband and I couldn’t be more pleased with Lisa and the service she provides. She has looked after our daughter for the last 7 months since she was 5 months old and is flexible, thorough and very accommodating to our wishes (breastfed baby and cloth nappy users so we’re quite tricky!). She provides a wide range of appropriate experiences during the week and the meals are excellent. Our daughter loves going which gives us peace of mind. We couldn’t recommend her enough.

Lisa has been caring for my daughter for almost a year now and I couldn't be happier with the level of care she provides. I am really grateful I can go to work with the knowledge my daughter is in the best of hands. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
