Hello lovely parents! My name is Jodie, and I am a qualified early years practitioner with an abundance of experience with various age groups. I'm 28 years old and began working with children when i was 16 years old. Child development has always been my passion. It truly is a job I can say I love. I'm super caring and patient, I love getting involved in lots of activities and being outdoors with the children. Please do not hesitate to message me if you'd like to discuss your childcare needs :)
My Experience
I started my career in childcare in 2011 by completing my training to become a fully qualified practitioner. I worked in a nursery setting with various ages, gaining lots of knowledge and experience, my time in the nursery led me to progress my career into a senior manager role, where I supported my team in providing amazing childcare and development opportunities.
After gaining this experience in a nursery setting I wanted to explore other childcare career options. I become a Nanny in 2018 and I am still nannying to this current day. Nannying has become my passion, I am trusted to care for your prize possession and I always put my all into each job role. I have worked for multiple families with ages varying from 10 months up to 10 years old. I stay in touch with families I have worked with as I like to build a strong trusting relationships with parents, I still babysit and do adhoc nannying for them.
I am now looking for a new position to start as soon as possible, i am flexible for the right family but ideally would like 4 or 5 days per week.
I can provide excellent references from previous families as well as an up to date DBS certificate, Paediatric training and ofsted registration details.

Jodie looked after our children for almost a year. She was reliable and we never felt the children were unsafe in her care. The kids had a great relationship with her and respected her authority. It was a shame the relationship had to end when our youngest started school.
Overall
Jodie worked as our nanny from Feb 2022 until May 2023, looking after our son since he turned one. During that time we felt completely comfortable leaving our son in her care. She is experienced, very organised and kept our son engaged by taking him to group classes, playdates and arranging activities for him. She prepared his meals and helped with his laundry. She's very patient and caring and our son was always happy in her care - they formed a strong bond which was lovely to see. For the last 6 months or so we had a nanny share where Jodie looked after another little boy too. This worked really well which was helped by Jodie's experience and organisation. Overall, we felt that Jodie was a great nanny and took good care of our son.
