About Me
I am an Ofsted registered Childminder who provideds a home from home setting. I offer a wide range of activities and outings in line with the EYFS. In my most recent Ofsted Inspection I was given "Outstanding". with the Inspector quoting in her report that "The house is full of smiles, kindness and laughter"
I specialise in Under 5's with limited older children spaces before school. I do not offer after school spaces apart from for the children who have been with me since they were little.
My Experience
I have worked as a nursery nurse and nanny both in the UK and abroad. I have my own children. I have had sole charge of children aged from 8 weeks to 12 years. I have excellent references which are available for people to read if you are interested in coming for a visit and chat.
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC National Diploma in Early Childhood Studies, Unit 1 in Homebased Childcare, First Aid training, Safeguarding Children, Fire Awarness Training, Basic Food Hygiene, Disability Awareness, NSPCC Bullying Awareness. I regularly attend training workshops and short courses to keep my childcare training up to date.
