I'm Emily, I'm 29 and I work at one of the local universities in Manchester.
I have a very wide range of experience working with children (and adults) as outlined below:

My main experience is with children ages 4 and over so I am most comfortable with babysitting children over this age.
I am an outgoing, fun and responsible person with a love for being around children. I thoroughly enjoy planning and creating engaging activities that foster children's creativity and imagination, whilst ensuring that they are in a safe and caring environment.

My Experience
I have a wide range of experiencing working with children and currently work at one of the local universities within Human Resources.
I previously worked as a live in nanny in Hampstead, London. I worked for a year with two lovely children, fully taking care of them from getting them up in the morning, through to putting them to bed and reading them bedtime stories. I was responsible for planning activities, days out and lots of learning opportunities. I also cooked, cleaned and took care of other ad hoc roles for the family.
Prior to this, I worked with a family in Valencia, Spain. My main role was to teach the two children English with fun and engaging games and activities. Other responsibilities included waking up and dressing the children, making breakfast, taking the children to and from school safely, helping children with their homework and creating English activities for them that are both age and interest appropriate.
I previously worked in a special needs school with 9 children, all with various disabilities and needs. Duties included, leading and planning stimulating and sensory activities, working 1:1 with children, encouraging children to communicate, including singing and Makaton, aiding children's development by implementing their care plans, administering medication and changing nappies.
I also gained a Bachelor of Arts Primary Education degree in June 2015. This course prepared my by providing 3 teaching practices, as well as educating me about child development, lesson/activity planning, behaviour management, child protection policies, National Curriculum, resources, phonics teaching - so I can always help with homework etc!
I have also had a lot of informal babysitting experience, usually during evenings in which I would help children with their homework, would engage them in playing games and help to bathe and put them to bed.
