Looking for SEN experience part time nanny/carer for our sweet 11 year old boy
About Me
We are a family with two children living in Chiswick. Our daughter Elizabeth is 14 and our son Ned is 11. Ned is a lovable and affectionate autistic boy. He loves physical activity, playing and conducting his own science experiments. He is very fun loving and sweet natured but also has a lot of sensory issues, and anxiety. He craves connection but needs guidance with social rules. He needs constant one to one attention.
My Requirements
I am looking for an energetic, kind, patient part time nanny for 6-8 hours a week. We would definitely consider a male nanny as Ned craves male friendship and role models. SEN experience would be useful but the most important thing is to find the right fit for us. Someone who can engage Ned, play with him, get down to his level, and take him to the park or play in the garden. We also want to find someone who can help guide Ned to follow social rules and help him to regulate his emotions if he becomes dysregulated. We can be fairly flexible re days and times.

Marwa nannies for my son one day a week and she is fantastic with him. I wish we could have her as a full time nanny, but as we can’t she is looking for an additional job.
Marwa is a highly motivated and likeable individual who hits the ground running. She has a natural affinity with children and instinctively knows how to connect with them. My son has special educational needs and can be challenging but Marwa easily engages with him and calms him down.
Marwa is very pleasant to have around and has lots of initiative. I love that she always helps me with clearing up if there is a calmer moment.
She often takes my son out for the afternoon and I feel totally confident she can look after him safely, even though he is prone to running off. Marwa is also highly professional and always reliable and punctual.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Marwa to anyone.
