About Me
I am registered childminder with an Ofsted rating of Good. I have been working as a childminder for four years. I have two children of my own aged 8 and 5 years.
I live in the St John's area of Wakefield in a spacious semi-detached home on a quiet cul-de-sac. This is only a five minute drive away from Wakefield centre, Pinderfields Hospital and from the M1 and M62 motorway. I have a large fully enclosed garden with lots of outdoor toys, and a large kitchen dinner with a downstairs toilet that is used as my main working space.
I aim to offer a nurturing environment where children will grow, develop and learn in a home from home setting.
I currently have some availability with more spaces becoming available in September.
My Experience
I am a mother of two young children.
I have previously worked with young adult with learning disabilities, supporting and enabling them to live an independent life, many of the skills and qualities needed for this job are ones that I will be drawing on when working as a childminder.
