About Us
JoJo's Nursery is owned and managed by Jo Slater and has been open since summer 2016. The Nursery has qualified, experienced and loving staff and use many natural resources and outdoor spaces to help children learn, follow their interests and grow.
In 2004 Jo became a childminder and subsequently started Jo's Kids, working from the family home. Over the last 17 years Jo has established a reputation, not only as a provider of a safe, friendly, professional service, but also as someone who well versed in child learning theory, and child psychology, and who is able to provide an environment that allows her children to grow in confidence as they learn the social and life skills that will enable them to lead happy and successful lives.
JoJo's Nursery is an evolution of that philosophy. In Jo's childcare, the wishes of the children and parents come first, and Jo will always strive to provide a truly bespoke service that fully incorporates the individual needs of her clients.
JoJo's Nursery is positioned on the Trottick area of Dundee close to Mill o Mains and Sidlaw View Primary School and Dundee College. JoJo's Nursery provides quality care for children age 0-5 in the nursery and for school age children in our Kids Club (After School Club and Holiday Club).
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, we have shorter hours but can accomodate on an individual basis -please just ask.
Opening hours: Nursery: Monday -Friday 7:30-6:00.
Kids Club Monday -Friday 3:15- 6:00 (school term)
Monday- Friday 7:30-6:00 (school holiday)
The service will be open all year apart from 4 days Christmas and New Year.
The Nursery has 4 spacious rooms for each age group from 0-5 and 2 rooms for school age children. Each room has easy access to the extensive and secure garden area full of natural resources to explore.
