About Me
Hi, I’m Sabine and I’m the childminder behind Little Beans Childcare, based in Haywood Village.
I’m a mum of three boys and have always loved working with children. I’m passionate about creating a warm, friendly and home-from-home environment where children feel happy, safe and cared for.
I believe children learn best when they are having fun, exploring and following their own interests. I love providing lots of opportunities for children to be creative, get outdoors, try new things and build their confidence.
We will enjoy lots of time outdoors, visiting local parks and toddler groups. As well as visiting farms like Noah's Ark or Court Farm etc.
As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to look after your child. I want parents to feel reassured knowing their child is being cared for in a calm, nurturing environment where they are treated as an individual.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over six years and have always enjoyed supporting children as they grow, learn and develop. I have a level 3 qualification in childcare as well as a BA honors degree in Early Childhood.
I have experience caring for children in the early years and understand the importance of creating a fun, stimulating environment where children can learn through play.
I enjoy planning activities around children’s interests, whether that’s getting messy with crafts, exploring outdoors, reading stories, sensory play or simply giving children the time and space to play and use their imagination.
Being a mum has also given me a great understanding of how important it is for children to feel secure and for parents to have someone they feel comfortable with.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Early Years and have always had a passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
I have completed my paediatric first aid training and safeguarding training, and I keep my knowledge up to date through ongoing training and professional development.
My childcare experience, combined with my own experience as a parent, has helped me understand how important the early years are and how much children benefit from feeling safe, supported and encouraged.
My Availability
I currently have spaces available on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all year round.
Standard opening hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Extended hours (by arrangement):
* Early drop-off from 7:30am is available for an additional fee.
* Later pick-up until 4:30pm is available for an additional fee.
I am open for 47 weeks of the year (closed for 5 weeks annually).
I offer full-day sessions with a minimum booking of two days per week.
Funded childcare places are available (subject to eligibility).
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
All year round care
Hourly rate (funded only) if attending more than funded hours: £8 per hour
Private day rate: £64 per day
I offer an early start from 7:30am for £ 5 per session and a late collection of 4:30pm for £5 per session.
I accept eligible funded hours, including 30 hours.
