About Me
I am a 28 year old Qualified Teacher, still working full time in school. I grew up as the eldest of four siblings and quickly realised that supporting children to develop was my calling. In my adult life, I have also had to provide care to both of my parents who have sadly been critically ill.
My Experience
I initially worked as a Learning Supporting Assistant for children with SEND. In early 2018, I qualified as a primary school teacher. I have worked in every year group from Nursery - Year 2 over the past 10 years, as either a TA or a classroom teacher.
In 2022, I was promoted to be the Early Years Leader at my school. I remain a Reception class teacher but also offer support/manage the Early Years team as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
My Qualifications
10 GCSEs: English Lit A*, English Lang A*, Citizenship A, ICT B, Maths B, Science B, Additional Science B, Business Studies C, History C, French C
2 AS Levels: Psychology A, Film Studies B
3 A Levels: English Lit B, Sociology B, Philosophy and Ethics B
2:1 Undergraduate degree in Primary Education with English Specialism
My Availability
I am available week day evenings and at the weekend during school term time. However, during the school holidays this can be extended to include week days.

I’m so pleased we found Maddy. It’s so hard to find someone you can really gel with to look after your kids, but my 10 year old and 2 year old absolutely love her. She goes above and beyond whenever she looks after them, I really couldn’t ask for any more.

Madeleine has been babysitting my kids for years, ever since they were babies.
She has done everything from staying with the kids overnight, taking them out, she plays with them and reads with them. Not one of these babysitters that just sits on her phone whilst they play.
Madeleine loves kids and is so good with them. They are always so comfortable with her and literally ask me when I'm next going out so they can spend time with her.
The fact that she's also qualified means that I can often ask her questions about the kids' development and advice.
