More than a childminder!

Adele looked after my daughter Amber (and occasionally my older daughter Eva), and from day one, it was clear she was so much more than just a childminder.

Every day with Adele offered something new — always thoughtful, engaging, and tailored to each child. Amber was never just being ‘looked after’; she was learning, exploring, growing, and most importantly, being truly seen and cared for. Adele creates an environment full of warmth, creativity, and genuine love. The children are involved in every step of their day be it cooking, planting, creating or exploring and I credit a lot of my daughters independence and confidence to this hugely positive early influence with Adele!

She has a rare gift for making every child feel like one of her own family, a sentiment that we came to share mutually. The relationship we formed went beyond the day-to-day — Adele quickly became someone I trusted completely, and someone we’ve stayed in touch with long after needing her care professionally.

Seeing her nominated nationally as an exceptional childminder didn’t surprise me in the slightest — she absolutely is.

Excellent nurturing environment

Adele Initially cared for my son after school at a nursery and he is now 21yrs old and thinks fondly of Adele to this day. 7 years ago I found myself the sole carer of my baby granddaughter. Adele was an absolute godsend helping me with childcare often at very short notice and providing stability for a baby and myself during a very traumatic time. I honestly don’t know how I would have managed without her. My granddaughter loves going to Adele’s and asks to go if she hasn’t been for a while. She is now back to going 3 times a week and really happy. I have never had to worry about if she was receiving adequate nutrition (we are vegetarians) or ever felt I was neglecting my granddaughter whilst working full time as Adele’s home feels like her home too. Adele’s husband and her two daughters feel part of an extended family that my granddaughter and I are privileged to be part of. I cannot recommend Adele enough

Adele has been in my sons life for seven years now, from age 3 to 10 (at present), and we honestly couldn’t imagine our lives without her. She has consistently gone above and beyond in every possible way, providing not just outstanding care but genuine love, support and stability. My son absolutely adores her and she has truly become a part of our family. She supported me throughout three long years of my nursing degree, always going out of her way to help whenever she could, and she has also been there for me during other personal moments too, in more ways than you'd expect from a childminder, she's always ready to offer a chat, a listening ear or even just a comforting cup of tea.

She creates a warm, safe and fun environment where children genuinely thrive and I’ve always had complete trust in her, her family and the other chimps in her care. Her communication is brilliant, she’s incredibly reliable and she understands children in such a natural and intuitive way. I like to think my son has a real “home from home” experience when he’s with her.

We are so grateful for everything she has done for us, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Adele, you're not just a childminder to us, definitely not just a friend, you became our family back in 2018 and we all love you to bits. I can't thank / praise you enough. Keep being you!
