About Me
Hello! I am a qualified Primary school teacher graded 'outstanding' by my university. I am a friendly and reliable person keen to do some private tutoring alongside my class teaching and leadership roles, as I thoroughly enjoy giving children the 1-1 attention they deserve when learning.
My Experience
I qualified as a Primary school teacher in the summer of 2019. Prior to qualifying, I studied Philosophy at university where I graduated with a First Class Honours. I also regularly volunteer in children's hospices and have experience with babysitting. I believe that some children learn a lot better with additional 1:1 help, which is often difficult to supply in schools. I therefore offer my services to encourage and help those children who are not getting this additional help in schools. I strive to make my tutoring sessions fun and enjoyable!
My Qualifications
I qualified with an 'outstanding' Primary PGCE from St Mary's University. Prior to this I graduated with First Class Honours in Philosophy. I have also worked in children's hospices and as a babysitter.
My Availability
I am available upon request. I am happy to travel to your home for late afternoon sessions (after 4pm to ensure that I arrive on time!). I am also available on some weekends!
