About Me

I am currently a KS1 primary school teacher teaching a Year 2 class of 30 children. I have taught children in most year groups from Reception to Year 6 so have a good deal of experience with KS2 children. I am fully qualified with a first class honours degree in Primary Education from Nottingham Trent University.

Learning occurs at different paces for each child. Consequently, I plan my sessions to support and scaffold learning, as well as challenge and extend, preparing them for the next stage of their development. For many of my pupils, I aim to build skills of confidence and boost self-belief. It is my personal mission to develop the inner spark in every child bringing out their true potential. I have a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to help your child succeed.

I have a range of hobbies and interests outside of teaching. These include: upcycling old furniture, going to the theatre, reading and when I can, travelling – usually to New Zealand where my parents live!
