About Me
I have recently moved to the Lincoln area as my partner is in the RAF. I am 29 years old and love working with children. I am out-going, and enjoy doing lots of different activities. I have done a baby and child first aid course, and have a year working as a residential care worker for children with complex learning difficulties.
I went travelling around South East Asia and Australia for three and a half months and thoroughly enjoyed my time gaining new skills (such as sailing) and having new experiences and creating memories. I also worked at camp America for 3 months as well and taught children horse riding.
I also love all animals, so therefore a family with a pet/s would be a plus.
My Experience
I have had several nannying jobs over the years and have loved them all for different reasons as every child is unique. I enjoy watching the children grow and learn so much over just a year. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I have moved from family to family more than I would have liked. I have also worked as a teaching assistant across all years from EYFS to Yr 6, but most recently, as a 1:1 in year 1 and year 6. I have also worked in a residential care home and supported children and young people with severe learning difficulties.
During the holidays in my teenage years, I used to word at a kids camp ages 3-11. I then went on to study Primary Education at University, however, due to personal circumstances, I decided to leave.
My Qualifications
I have no specific child care qualifications, but I was training to be a Primary Teacher.
I have 10 years of child care experience.
I have done a first aid course.
My Availability
I am currently between jobs, so I am available to help during the week and throughout the weekend, however, I do have a young dog, so would need time to see him during the day.
