My Summary

My Experience

Whilst at college I went to five different childcare placements working with children age ranged between 6 months and 5 years. This gave me a wider understanding of the needs and development of a child as they grow. Once I left college I worked in a day nursery for 1 year, working in the baby unit and then moving onto the 2 year old room.

I then worked in a primary school as a teaching assistant for reception children aged 4-5. During this role I supported the children with their phonics and emergent maths. I would take groups out of the classroom to work with daily.

After working at the school I decided that I was ready to become a nanny. I found my first position looking after a boy aged 18 months and a girl aged 4. I enjoyed regularly taking the children out to the local parks, soft plays, toddler groups. Due to a change in their jobs I was no longer needed as a nanny.

I have completed a 12 hour paediatric first aid training course and I have a current DBS check.

I qualified at college with an A* in level 3 childcare and education, as an early years educator.

I have taken part in several different training courses which support my understanding in childcare and I have also completed a level 2 course in Basic Food Hygiene.

My Availability

I am available to work weekdays Monday to Friday and the occasional babysitting in the evenings.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £11.00 per hour (gross)

I will be willing to discuss fees.
