About Me
I love working with children, making sure they are happy and safe, but most importantly having fun! I live in the knoll area of Orpington. I am hard working, compassionate, very reliable, with a wealth of experience, not only with the care of my own two children, but as a fully qualified NNEB nanny. I am fun, creative and enjoy the outdoors. I love all animals, as long as they don't have any more than four legs! I particularly love dogs, and I am also a qualified canine behaviourist. I enjoy photography, walking and love to travel. Having grown up in Egypt and travelled extensively in my 20's, and also working as a nanny in Turkey and America, I love to talk about my adventures in the hope that I can pass on my passion for visiting and experiencing new places, foods and cultures to the children in my care.
My Experience
I have been in the childcare sector for over 30 years, as a nanny from birth to teenagers and as a mum to two amazing children. I have worked in various positions in London, Kent, Horsham, America and Turkey. I am not afraid to muck in and go the extra mile to help busy families, including light housework, laundry and dog walking.
Through various private nanny roles, I manage morning and early evening routines, school drop offs, pickups, food preparations, cupcake and cake baking, facilitating craft activities. I also organise outings, time at the library, park and playground visits, toddler groups, music classes, to enhance confidence in meeting new people and being in new environments, but also have lots of fun when out on adventures including beach days, swimming, theme parks, museum's, zoo's.
Periodically, I also stay with the children while their parents go away for long weekends abroad, for business or just a well earned rest!
My Qualifications
Eight GCSE'S
Two A levels in English and Art and Design
NNEB Diploma in Childcare
NVQ 3 in Childcare and Education.
I will also have a up to date Paediatric First Aid with use of a Anaphylaxis Auto Injector and Emergency First Aid at work certificate.
Clean Driving License
DBS Certificate
I am a Level 4 Advanced Canine Behaviourist incase you have dogs.
Diploma in Canine Psychology
My Availability
After 8 years with my current family, I will be looking for new employment in August 2026 as the last child is off to school.
My Fees
- Nannying from £15.50 per hour (net)
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
£15.50 per hour net depending on location.
