Hello my name is Helen, I am 35 years old and I live in Bognor Regis with my husband and 3 year old daughter.
I always knew from a young age that I wanted to work with Children and I can honestly say it is the only career I can ever see myself working within, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing children grow and develop in many areas.
I have been working in nurseries for 19 years now and have a level 3 in Childcare and Education, I also attend paediatric first aid training every 3 years. I have done basic makaton training, safeguarding and food hygiene courses too.
I am hardworking, flexible, reliable and trustworthy. People who know me describe me as fun, kind, caring and very passionate about my career.
As much as I thoroughly enjoy working within a Nursery environment, I am now looking for a Nanny or Babysitting position.

My Experience
I have 19 years’ experience caring for Children aged 0-5 years within a Nursery setting, I have worked in 7 Nurseries over the past 19 years and my responsibility have included a variety of things such as changing nappies, preparing and giving bottle feeds, preparing snacks and lunches, organizing a variety of fun and challenging activities to stimulate the children and progress their development, ensuring children are safe and happy at all times.
In 2007 I took six months sabbatical leave from my job, I traveled to Australia to nanny an 18 month old boy, of which I had sole care whilst his Mother went to work. My duties included preparing meals, bottles, putting him down for a daytime sleep, housework duties and running errands, taking the child to Toddler groups and planning fun days out. I grew such an attachment with the child as an individual, just as he did for myself.
