There are no words available to tell you how wonderful Heather is. I first met Heather after my first initial meeting with another childminder put me off leaving my son with anyone other than family. He had a stoma and some complex health problems and I needed some who I could trust like family to look after him. Heather was that and more. I felt at ease the second we walked in and knew we had found our childminder.

Despite having no experience with a baby with a stoma she took Seb on and learnt everything she needed to that allowed her to support me to manage his day to day care. She had Seb from around 10 months old until her left her care to go to school. In that time she supported not only his development but also myself as his Mum. He was a stubborn little boy but she nurtured him and treated him like one of her own. Helping him learn and grow every single day and supporting me as his Mum through some very tough times.

Heather is still a part of our lives even though Seb is now 8 and at school. And we wouldn’t want it any other way.
