About Me

Hi my name is Lesley, I live with my partner Glyn.

I am a traditional childminder, I share my home with the children, I don't have a separate 'minding' room or nursery type provision, although I do have a baby sleep room with a cot for the children to sleep in if they need to. It is a home from home environment, my minded children call it 'Lesleys' house ', which I love.

I have 4 grown up children who have now all flown the nest and 3 beautiful grandchildren.

We have a cocker spaniel called Joe Cocker, an indoor ragdoll cat called Papyrus, two heavy horses ,Fred and Harvester and a young filly called Leah at a nearby farm, the children learn how to look after and care for the horses and they love to collect eggs from the chickens and watch the eggs hatch and baby chicks grow each year.

We are also close to the greenway and woods where we can enjoy lots of forest school activities as well as visiting several nearby parks for lots of fun and exercise.

The children regularly explore and have fun with art and crafts , messy play and sensory activities, music , dancing , and stories as well as a large selection of construction and educational toys to enjoy and role play with, all of which will help your little ones progress and develop in all areas.

Meals are included in my daily fees, which includes breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks and tea if required, I ask you to provide a healthy lunchbox for midday
