My Setting.....I offer a happy and caring setting where confidence, growing independence and good communication skills are encouraged and positive self- esteem is fostered. A healthy life-style incorporating physical activity, and healthy eating is promoted ; there is sympathetic support for emotional and social development.
A good supply of books, toys and activities, art and craft materials and sports equipment, together with appropriate childminder input enables the children to enjoy and achieve. For early years children, a varied routine is offered making time for rest and quiet as well as busy-ness and activities. Activities can include garden time, singing, messy times..... Plenty of time for play and having fun together is essential, also that each child feels able to contribute to the setting within a safe environment. The setting has a large garden and is near Highfield Park which is great for exploring and extra exercise.

Early Years : It is requested that parents / carers provide healthy, nutritious food for snacks and lunch. Where appropriate...nappies, nappy cream ; also sun cream to be supplied by parent.

For Before / After School children, appropriate care, activities and supervision within a safe environment are given. If necessary, a healthy and nutritious after-school snack should be provided by parent / carer. Alternatively an apple and wholemeal roll can be provided by the childminder.
