Nanny in Newcastle Upon Tyne (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
Hello!
My name is Zoe and I live in the Red House Farm Area of Gosforth, Newcastle, with my Husband, and two small dogs, we have no children of our own.
I have previously worked as a Childminder in 2002-2007 and then transferred my Ofsted Registration to Child Homecarer and worked as a Private Nanny from 2008 to 2015.
I then took a break from Childcare and have worked for the NHS for the past 10 years. I have worked as a Therapy Assistant and also in Care of the Elderly.
More recently I have worked in administration and I am now looking to leave the NHS and return to Childcare.
I am a very caring, kind and supportive child carer with a wealth of skills and experience. I have patience, understanding, reliability, flexibility and commitment. I love working with children, I find it a very rewarding career, I enjoy getting involved with planning and joining in the activities with the children, ensuring the children have a fun and varied day. I enjoy helping with their learning and development and getting to know their individual characters.
I always ensure a safe and comfortable environment for those in my care.
Previously I worked for families in Northumberland, Shiremoor, Gosforth, Jesmond and surrounding areas, and I have good knowledge of various children's activity groups in and around Newcastle.
I am confident to take children out as their main carer and equally happy to support parents during outings.
I especially enjoy Arts & Crafts and creative play. I am happy to assist with homework and school planning as required. (Not great at maths!! But will try my hardest!!)
I am happy to work in households with pets, dogs especially!
I am also happy to carry out light housekeeping duties as required.
Weekend/evening service babysitting available by prior arrangement.
I am in the process of renewing my Ofsted Registration, and once completed I hope to return to a full time position as a Nanny, working with children and supporting families in their own home.
I would be happy to discuss a Nanny share if that is something of interest.
I believe my checks and registration will be complete by August/September. It may be complete in time for the upcoming Summer Holidays, and once completed I will upload all my certificates and insurance.
I will be registered on the Voluntary Ofsted Register which enables tax relief for parents.
If you are looking to plan ahead, and would like more information please do not hesitate to contact me for an informal chat.
Thank you for reading!
Zoe

Zoe has been looking after my two children on a part-time basis for the last 6 months and I can highly recommend her to anyone looking for a nanny. My children (one of whom is extremely shy) think she is wonderful and enjoy their days with her, she is extremely reliable and most importantly takes the safety of the children very seriously. Zoe makes sure the children's days are fun and stimulating and encourages good manners and behaviour. Zoe has been a godsend to us and we value her services.
