I am a Rochester based Childminder, close to the grammar schools on Rochester Maidstone road.
I am a Mum to 2 boys ages 18 & 15.
I operate a 'home from home' setting and often allow the children to set the pace. Allowing them to help choose what we get up to and what activities they may like to do.
I have 28 years experience working with children. 10 years in nursery settings and the past 18 years as a childminder.
My mum was also a childminder when I was little, so I've spent most of my life surrounded by Children of all ages.
I enjoy taking the little ones in the local area to a variety of groups and messy play sessions. We visit local parks, libraries, cafes and regularly meet up with other local childminders and their children.
I have a Cache Diploma in Nursery nursing (NNEB)
Equal to the Modern Level 3 Early years/Childcare Diploma
I have current 1st Aid certificate, Safeguarding training, Enhanced DBS,
ICO, Food hygiene training and Public liability insurance.

Our son has been with Carrie since he was 1 year old, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very beginning, she completely calmed our nerves as new parents and made a genuine effort to get to know us as a family.What sets Carrie apart is her deeply collaborative approach. She knows our son so well and has been a constant source of support and guidance through all the usual parenting struggles. She is a vital part of our "village," and we are so grateful for the care, warmth, and expertise she provides.We trust her implicitly and will absolutely be enrolling our next child with her too. Carrie looked after my daughter from age 3-5 and I couldn’t have been happier. Carrie provides a safe and warm place and nurtured our daughter in a home from home setting. Carrie offers regular outings from library visits, play groups and play dates with other trusted childminders. My daughter was very happy in Carrie’s care and we’re very grateful to have had such a wonderful childminder ☺️

Both my children (3 yr old daughter and 15 month son) attend carries and they both absolutely adore her. We had to change from a different childminder due to them relocating and my 2 settled in so quickly with Carrie! They go to different playgroups and messy play, meet up with other childminders, go to parks, lots of arts and crafts etc. Carrie always keeps us up to date and I’ve also definitely noticed how much my daughter has learnt and picked up since being with Carrie. She loves my children so well and my 2 are always so happy on drop off and pick up. Everything a parent could want. Highly recommend xx
