About Me

Immediate availability.

I am a Rochester based Childminder, close to the grammar schools on Rochester Maidstone road.
I am a Mum to 2 boys ages 18 & 15.

I operate a 'home from home' setting and often allow the children to set the pace. Allowing them to help choose what we get up to and what activities they may like to do.

I have 28 years experience working with children. 10 years in nursery settings and the past 18 years as a childminder.

My mum was also a childminder when I was little, so I've spent most of my life surrounded by Children of all ages.

I enjoy taking the little ones in the local area to a variety of groups and messy play sessions. We visit local parks, libraries, cafes and regularly meet up with other local childminders and their children.

I have a Cache Diploma in Nursery nursing (NNEB)
Equal to the Modern Level 3 Early years/Childcare Diploma

I have current 1st Aid certificate, Safeguarding training, Enhanced DBS,
ICO, Food hygiene training and Public liability insurance.

Cared for children newborn up to school ages and above.

Both my children (3 yr old daughter and 15 month son) attend carries and they both absolutely adore her. We had to change from a different childminder due to them relocating and my 2 settled in so quickly with Carrie! They go to different playgroups and messy play, meet up with other childminders, go to parks, lots of arts and crafts etc. Carrie always keeps us up to date and I’ve also definitely noticed how much my daughter has learnt and picked up since being with Carrie. She loves my children so well and my 2 are always so happy on drop off and pick up. Everything a parent could want. Highly recommend xx
