I have worked in the field of care for 30 years. I have previously worked in a psychiatric hospital,I have been employed as a live out Nanny numerous times ,a Mothers’ Help, a childcare practitioner for a private nursery caring for babies and toddlers, a babysitter, a support worker and latterly team leader for adults with learning disabilities,a healthcare agency worker working with adults with learning disabilities and the elderly including dementia care and I have undertaken voluntary work for children with disabilities in a special needs schooI. I also have my own arts company where I provide music groups for adults with learning disabilities,arts workshops for primary school children and face painting.
I have a clean licence,but unfortunately not a car at this moment. I am a member of the PVG scheme and I can provide references on request.
My Qualifications
I have an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and an HND in Community Arts.I have also undertaken other relevant training certificates including Paediatric First Aid,Epilepsy Training,Moving and Handling,Food Hygiene,Medicines Management,Fire safety Training, Challenging Behaviour training and Autism Awareness.
My Availability
Currently I am available for evening and weekend babysitting and Ad hoc nannying on a Monday morning..Wednesday and Friday during the day .
