Wonderful and trustworthy childminder

Reviewed

My son is 21 months now and has been with 'Dan-Dan' 3 days a week since he turned 1. He has a brilliant time there and has formed such a strong attachment with her and her children, and the other children who are there at the same time as him. He talks about them regularly at home and there is obviously a lot of love and trust there. He has developed in leaps and bounds. He's a happy and chatty boy and likes to tell me about all the fun things he has done that day. Danielle ensures there's plenty of varied play either at her home or in parks, trips to the zoo, soft play, crafts, baking, play groups (such as messy play in the park). I have noticed some subtle and lovely behaviours that he must have learnt from her, like standing out of the way of cyclists and pedestrians on the pavement safely and holding onto the pram well while walking. Safety is evidently high on Danielle's priority list. He eats tonnes when he's at her house and although I haven't seen the meals he has, by all accounts they sound very well rounded and nutritious. Something that really helped me be comfortable with sending my son away from me, was Danielle's kind and open demeanour. She has been so on the same page as us in terms of our style of parenting. Initially Freddie didn't like to nap alone and we discussed this and she happily cuddled him while he napped until he got a bit older and decided he was happy to be in a cot. This meant a lot to me. I've always found it easy to raise anything with Danielle and have always left the conversations feeling listened to and reassured. Couldn't recommend her more highly.
