I'm Steph and I'm 33 and mummy to a beautiful 19 month old little girl. I have a great passion for working with children and children with learning disabilities and have a great patience and understanding in regards to this. I am flexible, kind, reliable, responsible and caring who would love to get to know and work with you to enable your child(ren) to lead a proactive and happy life! I am also happy to work with mainstream children as I enjoy working with children of all abilities and ages and have experience of children of all ages. My Experience
I have 9 years experience in working with adults (18+) with a range of learning disabilities and epilepsy (training in administering BUCCAL and rectal diazepam) I was ateam leader within my job for the last 6 years before leaving which enabled me to use my initiative and have a lot more experience within learning disabilities. I have worked with challenging needs, non verbal and had a lot of involvement with SALT, psychiatry and psychology and working with them to improve the lives of the individuals I have worked with. I have also worked in mainstream schools working 1:1 with children with ASD and been a nanny for families with children of different ages including neurodiverse and neurotypical. I have a daughter of my own who is 19 months old
My Qualifications
I have a distinction in childcare and early years course
I have a GCSE in health and social care (CC)
I have plenty of training around epilepsy, medication, first aid, food safety/handling, moving and handling for any hoisting requirements, challenging behaviour, NAPPI along with others.
I have a clear DBS (jan24). I have a full, clear drivers licence with my own car

Available for wrap around care (before and after school) can be flexible with times as and would have my daughter with me
