About Me

Hello, my name is Louise and I am a highly experienced and dedicated childminder with 22 years of experience caring for children from birth to 5 years.
I provide a warm, nurturing, and safe home-from-home environment where babies and young children can learn, grow, and thrive. I understand how important the early years are in a child’s development, and I am passionate about supporting each child as an individual, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
My Approach
I offer a balance of structured learning activities and child-led play, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Activities are carefully planned to support all areas of development, including:
Communication and language
Physical development
Personal, social and emotional development
Early literacy and numeracy
Creative play and exploration
Our days include story time, sensory play, arts and crafts, music, outdoor play, and local outings to parks, libraries, and playgroups. Babies receive gentle, attentive care tailored to their routines, ensuring they feel secure and settled.
With over two decades of experience, I have cared for many families and supported children through important early milestones. I understand the importance of building strong partnerships with parents and maintaining open, honest communication. I provide regular updates so you can feel reassured and involved in your child’s day.
I hold up-to-date training in safeguarding and paediatric first aid, and I am committed to continuous professional development to maintain the highest standard of care.
My aim is to create a calm, happy, and stimulating environment where children feel valued, safe, and excited to explore the world around them.
