About Me
I am 30 years old and I live in Salford’s with my husband. I previously worked in a nursery for around 6 years from as soon as I left school, working my way up from being a student to being a room leader. I’ve got lots of nanny experience with ages ranging from new born to around 6 years old. Im a big animal lover with 3 cats so if you have any animals that won’t be a problem! I’m reliable, punctual, calm and caring and can provide references. I really do love working with children and find that being a nanny allows me to express my creativity and imagination during play. I am also fond of helping children learn and grow and the love I receive back from the children in my care i find very rewarding.
My Experience
I worked in a private day nursery for around 6 years. Starting as a student, then having temp work to then being full time. During that time I completed my level 1,2 and 3 in childcare. I also completed loads of courses during this time such as first aid and safeguarding. I mainly worked with babies from 4 months up until 2 years and also worked with the toddlers aged 2-3. I have had lots of experience with Pre school children too. For a short period I was room leader in the baby room. I have now been nannying for around 8 years with experience with new borns. I love to plan and do activities with the children including baking, arts and crafts and seasonal activities EG pumpkin carving for Halloween. I also like to try and be outside as much as possible going to farms, parks etc and soft plays/playgroups when the weather isn’t that great!
My Qualifications
I have level 1, 2 and 3 in childcare. I am firstaid trained and also safeguard trained. I have done a speech and language course too.
My Availability
I’m currently looking for something 3 or 4 days from September 2024 when I will be finishing a short term contract
