Hello! I’m a (27yo) BSc Psychology student at UEA.
I have plentiful previous experience both as a Babysitter doing evening sits, and as a full-time Nanny. I am Enhanced DBS checked (and on the update service), Paediatric First-Aid trained, insured, and can provide references on request.
My Experience
I am currently at UEA studying BSc (Hons) in Psychology, aspiring to work in Child Psychology.
Previously, I have worked as a full-time Nanny/Mother’s Help within a busy family household responsible for 3 children; B2, G4 & G7.
I have experience doing solo proxy-parenting stints, during times of both parents being away.
I have a full, clean UK driving licence. In previous roles, I have been given trusted use of the family’s nanny car.
I have experience conducting interactive and engaging activities, encouraging crafts and outdoor imaginative play as much as possible. In previous roles, this often involved day trips to the zoo, park, soft play etc. At nap time, I would undertake nursery duties which included batch cooking, tidying up and laundry for the children.
Plentiful experience of evening babysitting for children between the ages of 12 months - 14 years old. Bottle feeding, bathing, reading stories and re-settling if they should wake.
Experience temping as a summer holiday nanny in North Norfolk for B6 & G4.
Volunteering experience with Girl Guiding as a Brownie Unit Leader, attending weekly sessions to help oversea and undertake activities with children aged 7-10 years old. I also volunteered with Bookmark as a Reading Assistant, working with children who needed additional 1:1 support learning to read. Both of these roles required a DBS and child welfare & safety training.
In my spare time I enjoy travel, gardening, walks in nature and socialising.

My Availability
My university term finishes for the year end of May, and I will be seeking more regular hours across the summer.
*mid June - mid September, I am available for full-time or part-time hours as a temporary summer holiday nanny.*
I am also available for ad-hoc weekend and evening sits (by request, please enquire). Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’re looking for a one off sitter, or someone regularly.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
This is variable depending on times and hours.
Fuel costs and general expenses during working hours are excluded from these rates.
