Hello! I’m a (27yo) BSc Psychology student at UEA.
I have plentiful experience both as a Babysitter doing evening sits, and as a full-time Nanny. I am Enhanced DBS checked, Paediatric First-Aid trained, insured, and can provide references on request.
My Experience
I will be starting my BSc (Hons) in Psychology in September 2025. The past year I have worked as a full-time Nanny/Mother’s Help within a busy family household responsible for 3 children, B2, G4 & G7. I also have experience doing proxy-parenting stints during times of both parents being away.
During the daytime I conduct interactive and engaging activities, encouraging crafts and outdoor imaginative play as much as possible. Often this involved day trips to the zoo, park, soft play etc. At nap time, I would undertake nursery duties which included batch cooking, tidying up and laundry for the children.
I have a full UK driving license for school pick-ups.
Plentiful experience of evening babysitting for children between the ages of 12m - 12 years old. Bottle feeding, bathing, reading stories and re-settling if they should wake.
Volunteering experience with Girl Guiding as a Brownie Unit Leader, attending weekly sessions to help oversea and undertake activities with children aged 7-10 years old. I also did some volunteering with Bookmark as a Reading Assistant, working with children who needed additional 1:1 support learning to read. Both of these roles required a DBS and child welfare & safety training.

My Availability
I’m looking for weekday part-time work around my university study hours. I am also available for ad-hoc weekend and evening sits (please enquire). Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’re looking for a one off sitter, wrap around care, or someone regularly.
