About Me
Hello! My name is Lisa, and I’ve been an Ofsted-registered childminder (EY536251) since August 2016. In my most recent inspection (July 2024), I was really pleased to be awarded a Good/Met rating.
At home, I have one grown-up son, a lively Border Terrier called Poppy, and my husband. We live in a flat with a secure outdoor space for the children to enjoy, and we’re also within easy walking distance of several parks — perfect for after-school fun and letting off steam!
My aim is to provide every child with a safe, happy, and nurturing environment where they can play, learn, and thrive. I also like to make sure the children have a healthy after-school snack to keep them going.
My Experience
I work as a Teaching Assistant during the day, and in the afternoons I offer school pickups from Thomas Willingale. I’ve been working with children for 14 years, from little ones just starting out to older kids up to age 11.
I’m also a mum myself, and the proud “number one babysitter” for my three godchildren — so looking after children has always been a big part of my life and something I truly love.
