About Me

Hi, my name is Juliet, who is happily married to Steve, and we are the proud parents of three grown up children. My setting is at my home, and we try to make it a home-from-home environment for all the children in my care, they have free flow of the downstairs rooms, and we also have a safe, garden where the children are encouraged to play, getting fresh air and exercise.

My Experience

I have been registered with OFSTED as a childminder since 2015, who graded me as “good” in all areas within every inspection they have done of my setting, and before this, I was a childminder assistant for 18 months while I completed my level 3 qualification.

As mentioned earlier, I have 3 children myself so have plenty of experience looking after, and bringing up children in a loving and caring environment.

My Qualifications

I have my CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce (QCF) which I achieved in 2015.

Everyone within my setting is DBS checked and me and my husband are both paediatric first aid trained.

I am a big believer in maintaining my CPD, keeping up to date with current changes within the EYFS. I have many certificates for the different courses I have attended which are available for you to review if you choose to come and see me in my setting.

My Availability

I usually work Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 17:30, but can be flexible dependant on your requirements (please ask), usually open for about 44 weeks of the year.

I do wrap around care at The Lanes Primary School in Beeston, Nottingham, doing drop-off and pick-ups.

I do term time, and school holiday cover.
