About Me
My name is Ulku, I am an OFSTED registered childminder in Stoke Newington area. I had my first ofsted visit in May 2018 and it was rated GOOD. I became a registered childminder in May 2016. My aim is to set and provide an environment suitable for all ages (0-8) and abilities.
I live with my husband who is also DBS checked and with my 3 children who are aged 5, 12 and 13. We are a Turkish and English speaking bilingual family.
My house is 3 bedroom with front garden and there is more green space in front of our garden.
I aim to do lots of activities and outing with children, my house is surrounded with parks, playgroups, adventure playground and children centres with short walking distance.
I provide home cooked meals, and encourage children to eat balance diet and drink plenty of fresh water. All the meats i serve are halal.
My Experience
I have two years experience working in school as a Midday Meal Supervisor and one year voluntary experience as a teaching assistant for reception and year two children.
My Qualifications
I have completed courses on Safeguarding, First aid, and Food hygiene. I have home base childcare diploma as well as BA Business and Marketing degree.
My Availability
I work Monday to Thursday 8 am to 6pm. I have full and part time places available.

My partner and I feel blessed to have found Ulku! She's the best carer for our daughter I could possibly imagine. When we first met her, we knew right away! She's been absolutely excellent from the first day when we left our 9m old daughter with her to this day now that she's 2,5 years old. Her whole family is loving and caring. She's been very understanding and flexible when needed as well as supporting us with every step on the way such as changes in naps and potty training. Her food is amazing and is super nutritious. Ulku never cuts corners and is super attentive, patient and loving. Her house is right next to playgrounds and green spaces and also has a front yard herself which means that kids spend a lot of time outdoors all year round. I can't recommend her enough!
