About Me
We're a friendly American family looking for a nanny housekeeper Monday to Friday. Hours are 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm Monday to Thursday & 10:30 am to 6:30 pm on Friday (32 hours per week). Before school pick-up, we need help with laundry, ironing, meal prep and occasional family food shopping / errands. After 3 pm, we need children to be collected from school, dinner made for the kids and them bathed. We need someone who can do longer hours during half term and the school holidays (8:00 am to 6:30 pm / 52 hours per week). Please message if you are interested. Sam interviewed with us and came across as well qualified and capable. Despite saying he was DBS checked on the site, he did not have one in place so we asked he obtain it on an expedited basis. Unfortunately, due to redundancy, I was no longer able to have Sam as a nanny. He was understandably quite upset and very insistent on getting reimbursed for the DBS check costs he incurred. We would advise parents to ensure they check all qualifications are verified prior to hiring.
