I am an enthusiastic, energetic person who loves working with children of all ages. I enjoy hiking, swimming, kayaking and cooking; these are all hobbies I would love to be able to share with the family I work with. I have 7 years experience working with children in different settings, in roles as a live out nanny (6 months), teaching assistant (2 years), a 1:1 SEN TA, English Language Teacher, primary class teacher and nursery volunteer. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Linguistics, and a Primary PGCE from Cambridge University.
My Experience
I have most recently worked as an English Language Teacher in Vietnam, teaching children aged 4-16.
I have experience working as a 1:1 SEN TA in an alternative provision school jn Cornwall.
I worked in London for 2 years as a primary teaching assistant in a year 4 class.
I have 6 month experience as a full-time live out nanny for a family with twin 3 year old boys and a 7 year old girl.
My Primary PGCE involved 3 teaching placements across all key stages in a primary school setting.
Prior to this, I have two years experience as a part time volunteer in a nursery and an Early Years class, and previous experience as a babysitter.
I also have experience working as a carer, which involves administering personal care and medication, preparing meals, and conducting health and safety assessments.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced DBS check, a Primary PGCE, a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Linguistics and a 120 Hour TEFL Certificate.
My Availability
I am looking for a full time live out nanny position starting January 2026. I have my own car with a full, clean UK driving license, and would be willing to get business insurance to use on the job. I am looking for a day time role with possible occasional overnight stays and evenings.
