About Me

I have been a Childminder since 2007 and a Mum since 1999, I live with my husband and 2 children. 25 and 21.

Myself, my husband and my eldest all hold CRB AND DBS checks.

I provide a safe, loving and caring environment where children learn through play and activities. I work within the new Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

Every day I attend toddler groups so that the children get to mix with lots of other children. I am also involved with Acorns Toddler group, which is on Church Lane, Stafford.

We visit local parks and the library, or just take walks in the surrounding area.

My Experience

I have been a Childminder since 2007 and a Mother since 1999. I have also helped out for a few years at St Leonards Primary School, where I have experience working with reception - year 5. I worked one on one with children who need extra help and children with special needs. I have also worked on my own teaching small groups.
I am also part of a local foster carer's support network, looking after foster children when I have spaces.
I am also attending courses run by entrust which keeps me up to date with any changes which affect the running my business.
