About Me

Hi, I'm Chloe! I am a warm, reliable and experienced childcare professional with both professional and real-life parenting experience.

I am currently working as an EYFS TA and am also a mum of two pre-teens, giving me a strong understanding of children's emotional, educational and developmental needs at different ages and stages. I also have experience of SEN needs.

I hold a paediatric first aid certificate, and have additional training in diabetes support, including confidently administering EpiPens where required. I am phonics trained, and enjoy supporting children's early learning, reading and development through fun, engaging activities and routines.

I have an enhanced DBS check, a full clean UK drivers licence (held for 17+ years), own reliable car and a valid UK passport.

I am happy to prepare basic home-cooked meals as part of my nanny duties and can support with school runs, homework, bedtime routines and general household organisation relating to the children.

Availability:
- Available 3-4 days a week (flexible on which days)
- Term time availability independently
- School holidays alongside my own children
- Available for pre-arranged evening and weekend babysitting
- Able to start ad hoc work from July 2026
- Available for regular/full time arrangements from September 2026.

I pride myself on being calm, dependable, caring and approachable, and I understand how important it is for families to find someone they can genuinely trust and feel comfortable with.

My Experience

I have 7 years’ experience working as a Teaching Assistant and Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) across nursery through to Year 6, with my most recent role in a Reception class. This has given me strong knowledge and hands-on experience of early years development and primary education, including supporting children with learning, behaviour, and pastoral needs within the classroom.

Alongside my school-based experience, I have also provided long-term childcare for a family over several years. I began caring for their child when he was a baby, and my role developed as he grew—from supporting typical infant care through to toddler and preschool stages. My responsibilities included nursery and school pickups, preparing meals, and managing evening routines such as dinner, bath time, and bedtime. I also provided overnight care on occasions for 1–3 nights. The child is now 9 years old, and although I no longer babysit due to the family relocating, I have maintained a positive ongoing relationship with them.

I have experience working confidently with children across a wide age range, from babies and toddlers through to primary-aged children (0–11 years). I am skilled in behaviour management and classroom support, have strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early development, and am experienced in planning and delivering learning activities. I am confident in safeguarding and child wellbeing procedures, supporting children with additional needs, and building strong, positive relationships with both children and families. I am also confident in supporting children with SEN and know a few basic Makaton signs that I tend to use in my work daily.

I am a calm, patient and nurturing practitioner who builds trust quickly with children. I am able to maintain a balance of fun, creativity and clear boundaries, and I am confident in supporting routines and structure while encouraging independence and development.

I have strong practical childcare experience, including managing bedtime routines and overnight care, school and nursery pick-ups and drop-offs, meal preparation and feeding routines, supporting homework and early learning activities, and engaging children in age-appropriate play and development activities.

I am reliable, punctual and flexible, with strong communication skills when working with parents and families. I have a full enhanced DBS on the Update Service and am fully up to date with safeguarding requirements.
