I live with my Partner Andrew and we have 2 children, Chloe 13 and Connor 10,and have both lived in Thatcham all of our lives.
We live in a 4 bedroom house in a quiet cul-de-sac. We have a decent size garden with various toys and activities for children. With a separate playroom.
My role will be to provide a normal daily routine and environment including all the daily activities a child would encounter with their parent/carer, such as walks, trips to local parks, attending toddler groups, stimulating play, crafts, farm trips and visits to local library and lakes.
It could also include the occasional outing of swimming if in the allowed ratio.
Both my partner and I have passed the DBS checks
I have been driving for 18 years and have a full, clean driving license and business insurance.
My Experience
I have done childcare for 21 years, 16 of which I have qualified with a NNEB in childcare and education in 2002. I have worked in two previous nurseries and worked my way up to becoming deputy manager.
I then went on to work as a private nanny for 5 years caring for 2 children. I find looking after my own and other children very rewarding watching their development grow into their own person.
My Qualifications
I have completed my NNEB child care and education
My full 12 hour pediatric first aid course in July 2022 (valid 3 years)
Minding your own business October 2013
Safe guarding children and child protection October 2013
My Availability
Full/Part Time spaces for children under 5. (subject to change)
Before/After school care available.
(Currently collecting children from Spurcroft
School holiday care also available, as well as term time only.
I offer School,Pre-School or Nursery drop-off and collections in Thatcham.
