About Me
Hi im a married Mum of 3 who lives in Heighington. I'm registered with Ofsted to provide care for children in a safe enabling environment. I have 2 sons who are 7 and 10 and a daughter who is 15. We have a houseful of pets a large garden overlooking horses. I offer home cooked meals from fresh ingredients, trips to groups, parks and other outings throughout the year. I love the company of children and have an open and bubbly personality. I am committed to learning new skills and have an interest in the outdoors gardening and forest school activities. I implement the Early Years Foundation Stage whilst caring for your child and have completed training to prove competence.
My Experience
After leaving school I had extended work experience at a nursery and in primary schools. I have 3 children of my own and also 3 step children.
My Qualifications
GCSEs and NVQ in Business Administration. HBCA, Paediatric 1st Aid, Safeguarding Training, Food Hygiene Certificate numerous other courses in relation to childcare, full list can be emailed on request.
Level 3 EYE, currently studying BA Honours in Primary Teaching.
My Availability
I am available for all day and wrap around care. My opening hours are from 7.45am, until 6 pm. I also offer school holiday care only monday to thursday, subject to spaces in ratio. I offer collection and drop off to Heighington Millfield and Heighington pre school. I am happy to work in partnership with other settings to offer 30 hours free childcare.

Amy has been an exceptional childminder, providing outstanding care and support for my child since she was just 9 months old. Her communication has always been excellent - I’ve consistently felt well informed about my child’s wellbeing, daily activities, and developmental progress, which has given me great peace of mind.
She has also worked seamlessly with my child’s other childminder, creating a warm, collaborative environment that has supported my child’s needs. Amy follows the EYFS framework closely and thoughtfully tailors activities to encourage learning and development in a nurturing way.
Although I originally had a place secured at one of the area’s top nurseries, after seeing the structured yet caring environment Amy provides, I had no hesitation in choosing her setting instead. It’s without doubt the best decision I’ve made for my child’s care, and we are truly sad to move on.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Amy to any parent seeking a dedicated, professional, and caring childminder.

Amy is friendly, easy to talk to, makes each child welcome and feel special. My son goes to Amy and has settled very quickly, she is a natural with children and my son loves her. He looks forward to going and calls her “Fun Fun Amy”. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone.
