My name is Claire and I am the owner of Blossom and Be Childminding which offers a nurturing home from home environment where your child can grow, learn and thrive. I know that children thrive when they feel safe, loved, and inspired.
Above all, your child will be included in the family environment that I offer. This sense of belonging and security is crucial for early development, helping children build strong attachments, develop emotional regulation, and feel confident to explore and learn. Being part of a warm, caring environment supports children’s wellbeing and lays the foundation for positive social and emotional growth. My approach centres around nurturing children’s emotional wellbeing, fostering their natural curiosity, and supporting learning through play.
My Experience
I have worked in education as a teacher for 18 years, completing my time in schools as an Assistant Principal for an all through school based in south east London.
I also have two children of my own and of course the wealth of experience this has brought me is immeasurable.
My Qualifications
My qualifications and training are compliant with registered childminder requirements.
In addition, I am a qualified teacher, have completed designated safeguarding lead training, hold leadership qualifications and have completed a range of other training in line with my experience.
My Availability
My opening hours are 7:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
I may be able to accommodate hours outside of my general hours, so please enquire.
