Hello, my name is Chandrika. I am Ofsted registered childminder who loves working and enlightening their future to help them become the best they can be. I look forward to meeting you soon!
I have voluntarily worked with children for over 15+ years. I thrive to provide an outstanding service that meets the needs of parents as well as setting out a safe, caring and loving learning environment for the children.
I plan activities based on each child's individual needs and age and abilities. I understand child development is extremely important and therefore all of my day to day activities are based on the main learning areas,

I have a well set up nursery transformed from my garage capable of holding up to 20 children as well as a separate play area in the center of my home. They are both stimulating areas with various activities for different children along with a local park minutes away from my home. I regularly explore new areas and parks with the children in my care for them to expand their imagination. Other activities include:

My Experience
I have 32 years of experience working with children. I have 3 children of my own, whom I have raised into wonderfully independent and kind adults.
I have worked with kids ranging from 3 months- 15 years.
From having lived in this area from 30 years, I know where the local parks are and what time is the best time to take the children. I know which routes are best to pick up the children from their respective schools and I know the people who live in this area very well so I can say it is a safe neighborhood.

Pediatric First-Aid Trained (always keeping updated with latest developments)

All residents of the household are DBS checked and qualified in first aid (3 of which are childminders as well)

My Availability
I am accepting children all year round. I am available from 7:00 - 19:00
I provide daily care, before and after school services, pick-up and drop-off services, holiday clubs, short-term care.
*Please note I only do school pick ups from Chalk Hill Primary, Preston Park Primary and Preston Manor Lower school.

6 children over 5 year old

Chandrika and Vijay are amazing Childminders! They are nurturing, caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. My 6 year old daughter loves spending time at their house, she always asked whether I could increase my working hours so she could spend more time and wished she could spend every summer holiday at Chandrika and Vijay's house! Best Childminders, keep up the great work :)

I'm so glad we found Chandrika when we were looking for childcare for our son (age3). Chandrika is caring, friendly and has made sure our son is happy and settled every time we dropped him off. Chandrika she has a lovely space for children to play and learn in. Our son really enjoys his time and comes home with lots to talk about. He especially enjoys playing with other children in Chandrika’s care.I very much recommend her to anyone looking for childcare.

Absolutely best place I could imagine for my son. He loves to be there and because me and my husband works a lot Chandrika’s nursery is my son’s second home and definitely Chandrika and her family is an extension of our little family.
She cares a lot of every aspect of taking care of all children.
I’m very happy I decided to give my son under such a good care.
Highly recommended!!!
