Personal Assistant Role/ Carer Role for 16 year with physical disability.
We are looking for one or more PA/carers for our 16 year old daughter who is a wheelchair user and has cerebral palsy. We already employ wonderful PAs and are looking to have others who can work extra hours preferably over the weekend and school holidays. Special needs experience or experience as a carer is not mandatory. We are more interested in finding the right person for the role. Our daughter is a family girl who loves to socialise, with a great sense of humour. We are looking for someone who will be fun and reliable, and offer new opportunities and experiences for our daughter, in and out of the home setting. We would like someone who would enjoy doing activities such as cooking, baking, arts, shopping and outings with her.
There will be personal care needs involved and training can occur on the job. The position is paid at £12 per hour, funded through direct payments.
