About Me
I am a native Russian speaker born in Latvia. My family immigrated to Canada over 20 years ago and I have subsequently moved to the UK around 10 years ago. My husband is British. We are an easy going family and both work full time. We have two girls aged 10 (born in Feb 2015) and 7 (born in May 2018). We live in Queen Edith (CB1) and both work from home a couple of days a week so one of us is usually home working.
My Requirements
We’re looking for an after-school nanny for Mondays and Fridays from January 2026, as our current nanny is sadly moving away.
Both of our girls go to The Perse Prep and do a few after-school clubs, so the role is fairly relaxed. It would usually involve being around after school, helping a little with homework, getting things ready for the next day, and doing some light laundry for the girls.
There may be the occasional morning school drop-off if you live nearby, and there are extra hours available for babysitting and during school holidays if that’s of interest.
If you’re able to help with piano practice, that would be amazing (but absolutely not a must!). On Mondays and Fridays the girls have clubs, so there’s less hands-on childcare on those days. Being able to cycle would be great, though it’s not essential.
If you happen to speak Russian, that would be a bonus — but again, not essential.
