About Me
I have worked with young children from 0-18 years, and I would like the chance to make a difference. I treat children fairly, with respect and as individuals.
I am a mother of three grown up children. I am a non smoker, I like walking, cycling, being outdoors, gardening, story telling / reading books, singing songs and rhymes, arts and crafts. I am passionate about cooking homemade food e.g., smoothies and encouraging my family and the children and families that I work with to lead a healthy life to be creative and active.
I am flexible and I have completed my Paediatric first aid training. I have also had training in Basic food hygiene, Safeguarding, Wellbeing and children's mental health and Health and Safety.
My Experience
I am a qualified Nursery Manager, Nursery nurse, Assessor, Early years lecturer and I hold the Early Years Professional Status.
I was Ofsted registered as a Nursery manager to several top private nurseries, according to the Sunday Times. I have had experiences of managing nurseries through full inspections and unannounced inspections. I gained an outstanding judgement for my, leadership skills and style according to my latest Ofsted inspection.
I taught and assessed Early Years students pre 16 to adults in local community colleges.
