Hello families!
I am a local nanny to W2. My last role involved taking care of a 3 years old girl since she was 5 months - she is attending nursery full time. now This was a sole charge, full time position since the start. Previously, I looked after a bright boy until he was about 2 years old since he was 10 months old. I have just finished my MA in the University of Westminster, thus I am looking for a full time role of +35 hours per week . I live in Paddington/Bayswater, know the area very well and would be comfortable travelling to your address and around - I am active and enjoy outdoors. Despite mostly working with toddlers, I have experience with +5 yo children as well. Till the beginning of March 2020 I took care of two siblings, aged 5 and 8. Previous to that I looked after a 7 year old. Moreover, I have had several short, temporary contracts; I was responsible (most of the times) for two or three children at the time and on a sole charge basis. English is not native however I am fluent and confident (B1 level); my mother tongue is Spanish and I have basic knowledge of Italian as well - I'm bilingual.
I was DBS checked in 2019, hold a CPR approved paediatric first aid certificate, I'm a non-smoker, and happy to work in a household with pets. I don't drive. Can provide employer and acquaintances references.
My Experience
My latest experience is with a 3 years old girl - who is with me since she's 5 months old. Before, I looked after a 15 months old baby boy for 1+ years until he started nursery. Previously I worked with two energetic siblings, G5 and B8 yo; who were very passionate and naughty, and attend several clubs and classes few days a week. While in the UK, I also worked with a 7.5 year old girl, from a Spanish/Romanian family. My role mainly included school pick-ups, homework support and Spanish tutoring; as well as the developing of multiple didactic activities. Back in Venezuela, prior to 2016, I overtook a sole charge nanny role looking after a baby boy since he was 9 months old until he turned 2 and a half years.
