About Me
Hi my name is Amy I am 42years old and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I have been registered since Feb 2016. I have 3 children of my own aged 18, 16 and 10 years.
I live in Nuxley Village and am close to the park, library and shops and am also walking distance to Belvedere Train Station.
I provide a home from home environment , and I have a wide range of toys both indoors and out. I follow the EYFS and regularly attend playgroups, parks and soft play areas. I was graded Good in my recent Ofsted Inspection (April 2024 ).
I also accept the Government Funding.
My Experience
I have 3 children of my own so have lots of experience with babies and children. We have also welcomed a Cockapoo Puppy into our home. Stella is now 14 months old and is loving growing with the children around her . I am Ofsted registered and both myself and my partner are DBS checked. I am also trained in Paediatric First Aid which will be updated every 3 years.

Amy is a fantastic, nurturing childminder whom I highly recommend. She has cared for both of my daughters over the years and consistently goes above and beyond. From local playgroups and days out to creative, educational 'tuff tray' setups at home, she provides a fun and stimulating environment. She is incredibly kind and truly loves what she does.

my son has been in Amy’s care for 18 months he has thrived and I cannot recommend her enough. Amy always makes all the children feel safe and happy. My son is excited to go to her care and always talks about all the fun activities they get up to. Amy takes the children to different places all the time which is so good socially for them and always to see and learn new things about places. Amy is compassionate and my son always wants to see her even when he’s not there. I know Amy will be always be a big part of his life and will always be loved by my little one. Thank you for all that you do Amy

Amy has been looking after my daughter 2 days a week for for 18 months, she is a fantastic childminder. My daughter loves attending Amy's House. Amy goes the extra mile to make her children feel special and my daughter loves her days there. Amy always plans great learning/play sessions at her house and also fun trips out. Thank you Amy, Callie now has so many new skills for starting school 😊

My 2 year old son has been with Amy since January and I cannot recommend her enough.
Leo loves his time spent with Amy, there are always different activities, toys and learning resources at the setting for the children to enjoy. Amy also ventures out with the children and it is so lovely to see them always having so much fun.
Amy is amazing and it makes it so much easier to leave Leo knowing he is in safe hands and well looked after.
I would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

Amy has looked after our now 2 year old daughter for the last 8/9 months. She has been amazing with our daughter, whom is very shy and takes some time to settle. Amy has gone out of her way and helped her confidence and development so much. Amy us so helpful and knowledgeable and really cares about the children she’s looking after. We are really sad to leave Amy but I’m on maternity leave again and will need to place my children closer to our new home.

Amy is a fantastic child minder. She keeps the children engaged and busy, providing lots of activities and opportunities to play, learn and socialise. She takes to children out and about regularly. She is caring and compassionate with the children and parents alike and provides plenty of information and updates about their learning and development. She has clear and fair expectations, helping to ensure the children progress well and that all the children feel safe and happy in her setting!
