About Me
Hello and welcome!
I’m Lindsey, an Ofsted registered childminder with over 16 years of experience, and I genuinely love what I do.
I provide a warm, caring, home-from-home environment in South Reigate (Woodhatch) where children can feel safe, happy and confident to learn through play. Every child is treated as an individual, and I take the time to get to know their unique personality, interests and stage of development so they feel secure, valued and excited to come each day.
I live with my partner Andrew in our beautiful family home, along with our two friendly dogs, Bruce our silver Labrador and Bear our cocker spaniel, who are wonderful with children. I’m also a proud mum to two grown-up children who have both gone on to achieve successful careers. Raising my own family, alongside many years as a childminder, has given me a wealth of experience and a real understanding of how important those early years are.
Our days are filled with fun, laughter and plenty of opportunities to learn. We enjoy arts and crafts, messy play, baking, music, stories, role play, sensory activities and lots of outdoor adventures. We regularly visit local parks, woodland walks and toddler groups, giving children the chance to explore, build confidence and develop friendships.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting every child to learn and develop at their own pace while making each day enjoyable, engaging and full of new experiences.
As a parent myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your child with someone else. That’s why building trusting relationships with families is so important to me. I keep parents updated throughout the day with photos, observations and regular communication, so you can feel reassured that your child is happy, settled and thriving.
To provide even greater flexibility and continuity of care, I also work alongside another experienced Ofsted registered childminder. This means children benefit from extra support and attention while still enjoying the same warm, family atmosphere that makes our setting so special.

My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 16 years, providing a safe, caring and stimulating home-from-home environment. I am passionate about supporting children’s development through play, learning and outdoor experiences, while building strong relationships with children and their families.
My Qualifications
My last 3 Ofsted inspections have been graded 'OUTSTANDING and two GOOD's .
I have a full copy of the reports which i can show to you. These reports detail how I provide quality Childcare.

Monday - Thursday 8-5 from September 26
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour

Lindsey is a brilliant childminder. It can be hard to decide who to leave your little one with as there are so many options and each service differs but we have not been disappointed with Lindsey's care and affection for our child. She has brilliant communication, always take the children out to local groups and provides great home cooked food which was always what we needed/wanted. She has set our girl up for life long learning and we had no issues with our girl attending hers and not wanting to go in. Lindsey has a genuine heart for each and every child and takes them in as if her own. Her space is a lovely home from home environment. Definitely do reach out to her!

My son has been with Lindsey since 2 years old, he is now 4 and has left to school fully prepared thanks to Lindsey who put every effort in giving him the tools he needs. We have been so blessed to have someone as attentive, kind and loving as Lindsey look after him. The setting is a comfortable space for the kids and very clean at all times, she makes them lovely meals my son still asks for Lindsey’s pesto pasta. We found Lindsey easy to communicate with and really enjoyed the use of an app to update us daily with pictures too.

Lindsey took care of our son since he was 1yrs old till he turned 4yrs. She has been just fantastic!! Our little one absolutely loves her and we all were sad to leave Lindsey after 3 years! Our child has benefited immensely from Lindsey, she provides a very comfortable setting, has taught so much to our son right from being independent to various good values such as sharing, making new friends, good behaviour etc.
Lindsey has been so kind to provide all sorts of exposure to her little ones from parks, playgroups, woods, softplays and so many fun activities in her own spacious garden. Exposure to nature is something very important to me personally and being with Lindsey our son has got great experience and learnt so much!
Lindsey is professional, organised and knowledgeable about everything to do with young kids and at the same time so warm and caring. I can write endless good things about her, we have been so lucky to have her as son's childminder and wish her all the best for future !!

Lindsey looked after my little girl for just over a year, we only stopped using Lindsey as we moved away. I cannot speak highly enough of Lindsey, my daughter absolutely adored her (as did I), she is warm, welcoming and really has such a positive impact. She was thoughtful and caring throughout our time with her.

Lindsey looked after our son for two years, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Lindsey is kind, fun and loving and our son has flourished in her care. She always makes sure the children have activities to engage in, alongside attending various local groups on a regular basis. We are kept updated with daily activities through notes and photographs, communication is excellent. Lindsey has welcomed our son into her family with open arms and we are really sad to be moving on. We would thoroughly recommend Lindsey as a childminder to anyone. Thank you.

Lindsey has looked after our daughter for 3 years and we are sad to be reducing our hours when our daughter starts school. From day 1 we have never had any worries or concerns, Lindsey is fantastic. Our daughter adores her and she can't wait to go back to her the next day, the fact that our daughter is so happy with Lindsey speaks for itself. Lindsey does so many things with the children from walks, play, home baking, trips out, outdoor activities, and more. We could not have found a better childminder for our daughter, we absolutely adore her and highly recommend her to anyone.
