My Summary

My Experience

I have experience with children in Spain, England, and the United States (both as a nanny and au pair), from 4months to 10years old (including twins). I can provide references from both, previous and current families.

CURRENT EXPERIENCE: I work for a lovely family in Battersea. I look after the sweetest boy (who is 2 now). I truly enjoy spending my days with him and we laugh so much together, Sadly his mum won't be working any longer so I am looking for my next position.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: I worked as an au pair from July 2012 to March 2014 for two families. I cared for a baby called Sebi and two girls, Leila (8) and Lexi (6) in the first family. The parents speak fluent Spanish, so I spoke to the children in Spanish to teach them. I worked hard, but they were a lovely family. They helped me with my English too. I had a car while I was there to drive children to school and baby activities. It was helpful because they live in the countryside. I am still in touch with the family and see them often. I traveled a lot with my first family. We visited Paris and other places in France, Marbella, and many places around England. We also went to the Paralympic Games London 2012 which were amazing! My second family had two children, Aidan (10) and Millie (7). I met Emma, my host ‘mother’ when she teaches me English at college. I became their au pair in September 2013. When I lived with them, the children were at school, so I had another job in the mornings, cleaning holiday cottages. I spent a lot of time playing with Aidan and Millie on computer games, watching films, going to the town and the park, and playing football in the garden. Before I came to England, I worked as a carer at a school for children with autism in Spain. I helped them every day for about 6 months and loved my job.
From Feb 2015 to Feb 2017 I was an au pair for a great family in Seattle, US. Olivia and Rupert were 4 months old when I started looking after them and I really enjoy seeing them growing up (so fast) and learning new things every day. I really enjoyed spending time with them and their parents and they´ve become family for me (we still talk often on Skype and see each other when they come to England to visit their dad´s family and I go to visit them yearly).
I moved to London in March 2017 and found what was my perfect match for the next 3.5 years. I looked after an amazing boy who was 2.5yo when I started and his little sister (later on) since she was born. I took care of pretty much everything related to the children such as get them ready in the morning, make breakfast, lunch, and dinner, take the boy to school and pick him up, take the little girl to playgroups or activities, do their laundry, bath, bed routine, take them to playdates, museums, park, etc etc. Unfortunately, they had to move to Dubai due to mum´s work.

My Qualifications

In Spain, I studied Social Integration ( comparable to BTEC Level 4 / SQA Higher National Certificate (HNC) standard.
- Paediatric first aid course up to date.
- British sign language. Introduction Level
-OCN Level 3 Sleep Training. Babyem TM. London, UK.
