About Me
Throughout my years working in childcare, I have gained lots of knowledge and experience. I have been working with children for the last 10 years starting off gaining a real interest on work experience and then continued to study childcare for GSCE this then followed into gaining my level 3 qualification at college. I then continued to learn about special educational needs and gained my level 3 qualification. I then became a Teaching Assistant and furthered my development by completing a TA course L3 and then most recently gaining my Higher-Level Teaching Assistant L4. In-between studying, I have worked as a nursery nurse, adhoc nanny, babysitter and teaching assistant. During this time, I have completed many courses expanding my knowledge and refreshing skills such as paediatric first aid.
In my spare time I love doing crafts and would use this in my previous jobs with displays, art week or setting up activities.
In June 2023 I became a mum, since then I have been on maternity leave.
My Experience
I have had lots of experience with children from newborn - 11 years. I have a standard DBS (CRB) check and I also have a level 3 paediatric first aid. I am a confident driver, with a clean licence
I have previously babysat for many regular families where I have gained lots of knowledge and experience. I have worked with children who have additional needs. I used to also volunteer at my local Brownie pack for several years.
