Home-from-Home Childminding for Ages 0–3
Monday–Friday | 7:30am–5:30pm

Welcome to our warm, nurturing and active home-from-home childminding setting, where little ones are encouraged to learn, explore, grow and, most importantly, feel happy and secure.

I have 19 years of childcare experience, including many years working in nurseries, where I ran key groups and planned engaging learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

I now run my own childminding setting alongside an experienced assistant who I have had the pleasure of working closely with in a nursery for over 10 years. Having such a strong professional relationship means we work together seamlessly and provide consistent, loving care for the children.

One of the things I pride myself on most is developing strong, genuine bonds with the children I care for and their families. I want every child to feel settled, valued and confident in our care, while parents feel reassured that their little one is known, understood and truly cared for.
We offer a busy, active and family-focused environment, with plenty of opportunities to explore both indoors and out.

Our days can include visits to:

?? Lots of opportunities to explore nature and the world around us

We believe children learn through everyday experiences, play and real-life adventures, and we make the most of the wonderful opportunities available in our local community.

Our days together
Although we enjoy getting out and about, we also have a lovely rhythm to our days at home. We enjoy home-cooked meals, free play, planned activities, stories, singing and group time.
We talk together about the weather, the days of the week and what we have been doing, encouraging the children to share their ideas, experiences and interests with one another.

Learning is naturally woven throughout our day and supported through the EYFS, while allowing children the freedom to follow their own interests and develop at their own pace.

A positive start
We have recently had our first Ofsted inspection, which was a lovely and very positive experience for us. It was wonderful to reflect on our setting, the relationships we have developed with the children and families, and the environment we have created.
Our aim is simple: to provide children with a happy, safe, nurturing and stimulating home-from-home environment, where they can build confidence, form secure relationships, have lots of fun and enjoy their early years.
